Functional Medicine Focused on Education, Access, and Informed Choice

Where your health & well-being are our top priorites

At Willow Tree Functional Medicine, our Functional Medicine service is designed for individuals who want deeper insight into their health through education and advanced lab testing—without replacing their primary care provider. We believe informed decisions start with understanding, transparency, and collaboration.

This is Functional Medicine approached responsibly: education first, patient autonomy always.

Our Functional Medicine offering provides access to a broad laboratory testing catalog paired with professional guidance to help you navigate your options confidently. You’ll meet with a certified Functional Medicine Practitioner who will review your health history, discuss goals, and explain available testing categories—so you can make informed choices alongside your existing medical care team.

We do not diagnose, treat, or interpret results. Instead, we focus on education, access, and continuity of care.

A Different Approach to Functional Medicine

Traditional models often focus on assumptions. Our Functional Medicine approach begins with understanding.

We prioritize:

  • Education over diagnosis

  • Access over prescriptions

  • Patient autonomy over one-size-fits-all plans

Your role is to choose the testing that aligns with your goals. Our role is to ensure you understand what’s available and how to responsibly share results with your medical provider.

Required Initial Visit

$100 (Mandatory for all patients)

Your initial visit with a certified Functional Medicine Practitioner includes:

  • Lab Testing: Patient-selected, priced per lab catalog

  • Supplements: Optional, patient-purchased

  • Comprehensive health history intake

  • Review of current concerns and goals

  • Education on available lab testing categories

  • Guidance on collaborating with your primary care provider

  • We do NOT offer treatment plans or prescriptions

This visit does not include diagnosis, treatment, or lab interpretation.

Patient-Directed Lab Testing Access

Patients may order tests from our laboratory catalog, including functional, wellness, and specialty panels.

Important to know:

  • Lab results are delivered directly to the patient

  • Results are not interpreted by our service

  • All results must be reviewed with a licensed medical provider

  • Testing is for educational and informational purposes only

This structure allows Functional Medicine insights while maintaining appropriate medical boundaries.

Safety & Patient Protection

If a lab result contains critical or urgent values, we will:

  • Notify the patient promptly

  • Recommend urgent or emergent follow-up

  • Advise immediate contact with a primary care provider or emergency services

This ensures patient safety while preserving continuity of care with your medical team.
